Back in 2021 I took part in Fuaran. The project was launched in 2014 and more than 70 young people aged 16-25 have taken part in training and song workshops since then, led by a host of leading Gaelic song and research experts. For my involvement I researched a song by the “Blind Minister” and Duncan Bàn MacIntyre (1724-1812). I then got the opportunity to record and film it as part of Fuaran. Here is a link to my research, and the video contains Gaelic and English subtitles which is very uncommon, but a great thing for me as a deaf Gaelic person: https://www.feisean.org/fuaran/en/songs/my-love-is-the-young-brown-haired-girl/
